Outdoor kitchen guides for people actually building one

Every guide here answers a single question you would ask while planning a real outdoor kitchen. No listicles, no "ten trends for this season". If a page cannot tell you what to measure or which part to buy, we do not publish it.

How to use this library

Read in the order you build

An outdoor kitchen is decided in a sequence, and reading out of sequence is how people end up with a grill that does not fit an opening they have already ordered. The guides are grouped to match that sequence.

Start with the space, then the grill, then the modules, then the counter, then the cost. By the time you reach cost you will have the three numbers that determine it, and a per-metre quote will look as meaningless as it is.

  1. 1 · Space and layout

How much room, what it is made of, where the wind and rain come from. Planning & layout →

  2. 2 · The grill

Measure the cut-out, not the outside. Confirm venting and gas routing. Grill fitting →

  3. 3 · The modules

Which cabinets fill the run, in what order, with which handing. Modular cabinets →

  4. 4 · Counter and finish

Stainless or stone, and which of the three colourways survives your climate. Countertops →

Send us the grill and the length

If you already know what you want, the fastest route is a quote request with your grill model and the run length you have. Two working days, one configuration, one price.

Common questions

About these guides

Who writes them, and what they are not.

Are these guides only about BOGEQI cabinets?

No. Most of them would apply to any modular outdoor kitchen: how a cut-out is measured, why standing water destroys a cabinet, what thermal shock does to a stone top. Where a guide is specific to our own modules it says so in the first paragraph.

How often are the guides updated?

Each page carries a published and a last-reviewed date. The technical pages are reviewed when a specification changes, and the pricing pages when the freight basis moves — both of which happen more often than once a year.

Can I ask about something not covered here?

Yes, and it is usually the fastest way to get an answer. Send the question with your grill model if it is about fitting; questions that come up more than twice tend to become the next guide.
